Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Execute regression testing on Fortinet FortiOS products using a combination of manual and automated testing; create, maintain, and execute test specifications and test cases.
•Write and maintain automation scripts for test execution and reporting.
•Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing; work with developers to ensure fixes are correctly implemented.
•Collaborate with Developers, QA, and Product Managers to understand new features, use cases, and customer scenarios.
•Document and publish release notes, user guides, and reference materials for new product releases.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 85,000 - 104,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, routing and switching.
•Demonstrated knowledge of FTP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, Netflow, SNMP.
•Working experience on Virtual machine environment, e.g. VMware/ESXi, Hypervisor and Linux.
•Demonstrated knowledge of firewalls and cybersecurity.
•Demonstrated knowledge of network packet capture and network data packet analysis.
