Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop electrical systems and/or equipment to meet contractual and company requirements for business performance.
  • •Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, material selection, and drive design reviews for electrical systems and cross-domain interfaces.
  • •Investigate technical issues, root causes, and product failures; implement corrective actions as required.
  • •Support prototype builds, testing programs, and product verification and validation activities.
  • •Develop and optimize electrical candidate solutions against requirements and present them in design reviews, working with limited day-to-day supervision as needed.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated experience in the electrical engineering discipline.
  • •Electrical engineering degree qualified and meets requirements for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
  • •Experience developing electrical equipment designs, participating in design reviews, and performing typical design analyses.
  • •Ability to undertake electrical/electronic solution integration, validation, and qualification testing.
  • •Ability to work with teams across multiple geographic locations, with occasional interstate travel based on project/product needs.
