Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and drive verification and validation strategy for power electronics products from concept through production release.
  • •Author, own, and drive DVP&Rs by deriving test cases from requirements, defining acceptance criteria and sample sizes, and driving plans to documented closure.
  • •Architect system-level test setups and validation architectures, including HV/LV interfaces, load and mission profiles, thermal/environmental conditioning, fault-insertion, and data acquisition.
  • •Define and oversee test benches (jigs/fixtures, instrumentation, harnessing, DAQ), establishing measurement accuracy, uncertainty, and correlation requirements.
  • •Lead root-cause analysis for complex failures, drive corrective actions with design and supplier teams, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of experience in power electronics development, test, and validation.
  • •Strong fundamentals in power electronics, including switching topologies, magnetics, gate drive, control loops, EMI/EMC, and thermal design.
  • •Proven experience owning DVP&Rs and requirements-based validation programs through production launch.
  • •Extensive hands-on lab expertise with instruments such as battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, oscilloscopes, current probes, power analyzers, hi-pot testers, and DAQ systems.
