Job Summary

Senior Staff Post-Silicon Validation Engineer responsible for datacenter server SoC post-silicon platform validation, coordinating with customer engineering, firmware, validation and software teams to develop test plans, configurations and execution plans, while leading and mentoring engineers and driving regression and platform validation efforts across EPYC server CPU platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee execution of programs for EPYC Server CPU platforms, including managing requests, scheduling platform validation activities, tracking dependencies and hardware requirements, and reporting.
•Work with multiple stakeholders in customer engineering and functional teams to align on regression plans for AMD server products.
•First level triage of issues found during regression testing and drive closure of issues with sense of urgency.
•Report out and be the go-to person for regression testing of AMD’s server products.
•Be adaptive and alert to coverage misses and work with stakeholders to incorporate tests cases to close gaps.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master’s in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering
•12+ years of experience in SoC platform validation and debug
•Experience with PC architecture and microprocessor cores
•Working knowledge of Server OSes (Linux, Windows)
•Familiarity with programming / scripting language (C/C++, Python, Perl, ...)
