Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier selection for a specific product using the approved supplier list.
  • •Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, including concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost models, and joint design development via statements of work.
  • •Drive development and consolidation of the manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers.
  • •Manage CAPEX through NPI and perform value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility.
  • •Lead cost engineering and BOM risk assessment, including alternate sourcing, component qualification completion, and complexity reduction through commonality and supplier rationalization.

Salary: USD 110,000 - 166,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
  • •3+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
  • •Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level.
  • •Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • •Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Huntsville, AL.
