Key Responsibilities

  • •Design COTS hardware infrastructure systems, including X86-based processor-related architectures.
  • •Research and select servers, workstations, add-in interface cards, storage devices, and other COTS hardware components.
  • •Engineer BIOS and operating system configuration definitions.
  • •Work in the lab to prototype, integrate, and validate systems using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes and data capture tools).
  • •Collaborate with hardware engineering, supply chain, field engineering, and customers to deliver safety-critical systems; support occasional travel as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with emerging and legacy hardware and software, including Unix and Linux operating systems.
