Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks on AVI-SPL contracted projects, including cable pulls, cable terminations, system equipment/components, rack systems, and basic metal fabrication.
  • •Coordinate with lead Technician to help ensure projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.
  • •Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
  • •Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors and support AV systems installation tasks.
  • •Assist with equipment/tool management on the jobsite, help with basic rack wiring and mechanical fabrication, and travel to job sites as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • •Customer service oriented with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • •Basic understanding of audio-visual systems (projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, video conferencing, digital signage, and control systems).
  • •Basic proficiency installing/terminating/troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) and experience with conduit runs and cable trays.
  • •Valid Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record meeting AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards, with at least a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
