Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute shipboard C4I, electronic, and electrical system installation, removal, modification, and testing per NAVSEA standards, cableway specs, and engineering drawings.
  • •Perform inside-plant cable pulling, multi-pin connector termination, rack populating, cable routing/banding/labeling, and pre-installation staging.
  • •Assist with system-level evaluations including power checks, continuity checks, fiber/copper testing, and troubleshooting across active naval systems.
  • •Flex between multiple MIT programs (CTII, CIVMAR, SCORP, SEAWATCH, ILMS, STRS3) based on operational tempo and shipyard availability.
  • •Enforce site Emergency Action Plans (EAP), OSHA maritime standards, tag-out procedures, environmental hazard precautions, and maintain compliant daily logs/timekeeping.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 2-4 years of progressive C4I shipboard integration or electronics maintenance experience.
  • •Proficiency in basic cable running, stuffing tubes, multi-pin/coax/CAT6 terminations, and hand/power tool operation in an industrial maritime setting.
  • •U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and successfully pass HireRight background checks.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted rapid access badging (DBIDS) for local military bases and private/naval shipyards.
  • •Ability to work in confined spaces and in all-weather conditions; lift and carry up to 100 lbs; climb vertical ladders.
