Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and manage engineering stores, inventory, consumables, and laboratory assets.
  • •Track and administer engineering equipment, fixtures, test equipment, cables, and development hardware; support lab management and 5S standards.
  • •Conduct calibration, equipment commissioning support, and contribute to equipment selection, procurement, and deployment.
  • •Perform electronic/mechanical assembly, cable manufacture and repairs, and electronic rework/repair on PCBAs and cable assemblies.
  • •Support fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and debugging, execute engineering testing, and maintain build records, test documentation, and SOPs while supporting HSE initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Foundation Degree, HND, Advanced Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 4/5, or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • •2 years’ experience providing calibration and maintenance support within a production, engineering, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience working with Motion Simulators or other high-precision test equipment.
  • •Experience maintaining equipment records, calibration schedules, and technical documentation.
  • •Experience performing electronic and/or mechanical assembly, plus troubleshooting and fault diagnosis activities.
