Provide direct support and supervision to residents in a federally contracted ICE short-term residential facility, ensuring a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment. Support children, families, and adult residents with daily activities, basic care needs, family engagement, and resident orientation. Maintain accurate supervision logs and case-management documentation, enter/update records in facility systems, respond to safety incidents, and coordinate with supervisors and medical/behavioral teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide direct supervision and monitoring of residents throughout the facility to maintain a safe, structured, supportive environment.
•Assist with resident orientation, facilitate age-appropriate recreational and educational activities, and support access to meals, hygiene supplies, clothing, and basic necessities.
•Maintain accurate supervision logs, activity records, and resident documentation; enter and update information within facility databases and case management systems.
•Monitor and report safety concerns, incidents, emergencies, or unusual activity; apply trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques and complete incident reports.
•Coordinate with Family Services Supervisors, medical and behavioral health staff, and facility leadership; communicate resident concerns and support continuity during admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 22 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Education, or a related field preferred.
•Minimum one (1) year of experience working with children, families, vulnerable populations, residential programs, social services, education, customer service, or a related field.
•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.
•Strong organizational and documentation skills, including the ability to follow policies, procedures, and supervisory direction.
•Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently; must be bilingual (Spanish preferred, other commonly encountered languages considered).
