Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent areas of knowledge, understanding, and skills to students taught, modelling truth, justice, equality, and compassion.
  • •Plan and deliver lessons aligned to students’ individual learning needs and learning styles, using ICT to enhance teaching and learning.
  • •Set homework and design out-of-class learning activities to consolidate and extend learning.
  • •Assess, record, and report on students’ development, progress, and attainment, providing regular oral and written feedback.
  • •Maintain safeguarding and professional conduct, communicate openly with parents, and support after-school activities and community events as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold relevant teaching qualifications for MFL and provide proof of relevant qualifications as part of the background checks.
  • •Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and understanding of the relevant curriculum to plan and teach well-structured lessons.
  • •Use assessment, reporting, and regular feedback to support students’ progress and next steps in learning.
  • •Maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment and apply fair, consistent disciplinary practices.
  • •Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and child protection, including successful background checks and references.
