Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure production uptime service levels by maintaining backup, recovery, refresh, performance tuning, and security requirements.
  • •Manage Oracle Cloud OCI platform and maintain integrations/configurations to keep the cloud environment healthy.
  • •Perform routine DBA tasks including database maintenance, backups, recovery, tablespace management, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • •Execute periodic health checks, monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and recommend production changes to ensure optimal performance.
  • •Plan and respond to service outages, execute cloning in SaaS/OCI, maintain Oracle quarterly releases, and support systems development, migration, and integration efforts as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BA in Computer Science or similar required.
  • •10+ years of experience as an Oracle ERP APPS DBA and a minimum of 5 years as an Oracle Cloud engineer managing Cloud OCI platforms.
  • •Must have executed a minimum of two upgrade cycles and support cutover downtime reduction through process improvements.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of cloning, patching, backup/recovery of ERP applications, including ODI and FAW/ADW, plus performance tuning and SQL profiling.
  • •Hands-on backup management and multiple recovery techniques, including designing and implementing disaster recovery plans.
