Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Construction, Civil & Site Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Engineer the structural systems of modular data center products (frames, enclosures, lifting and transport structures) from concept through fabrication drawings.
  • •Own structural calculations and load paths so modules survive fabrication, shipping, rigging, and stacking without redesign.
  • •Solve structure-to-MEP integration problems, including penetrations, attachment points, and tolerance conflicts.
  • •Provide structural support for both factory and field, answering RFIs same-day and engineering fixes into the next design revision.
  • •Drive prototyping and validation through physical mockups, fit checks, and first-article reviews attended in person.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience engineering structures for complex physical products, modular construction, or heavy fabrication (modules, trailers, skids, container conversions).
  • •Experience taking steel or sheet metal products from concept through fabrication, not only analyzing others’ designs.
  • •Accountability through production launches of your own designs and successful first-article support.
  • •Comfort treating transport loads, lifting points, and stacking constraints as core design drivers, not afterthoughts.
  • •Ability to build reliable drawings that minimize fabricator follow-ups, and strong cross-disciplinary collaboration to iterate quickly while maintaining configuration control.
