Key Responsibilities

  • •Define GNC mission requirements and ensure requirements traceability and quality from system to component level.
  • •Develop and refine nonlinear 6 degrees-of-freedom simulation models using multidisciplinary data.
  • •Develop, implement, integrate, and test vehicle models and controllers using multiple software languages.
  • •Design flight control laws using modern linear control design and advanced nonlinear analysis, then bound performance within the flight envelope.
  • •Lead design reviews and support model validation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight testing; train and coach others.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or a non-US equivalent qualification related to the work.
  • •14+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • •5+ years of experience with Guidance Navigation and Control engineering.
  • •Experience using Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX to model systems.
  • •Active experience in guidance/navigation/control modeling and simulation (also reflected in preferred qualifications).
