Job Summary

Senior leader responsible for shaping and executing Thumbtack’s Product Marketing and Experience Marketing strategies. Owns positioning, messaging, and lifecycle/content initiatives across homeowners and professionals in a two-sided home-services marketplace. Partners with product, growth, and leadership to align roadmap with customer insights, drive growth, and build a high-performing marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead Product Marketing to define positioning and product narrative for homeowners and professionals across a two-sided marketplace, ensuring coherence from the company narrative to in-product copy.
•Set the strategic direction for Experience Marketing (Lifecycle, Landing Page optimization, Content Marketing) so behavioral signals and content performance inform each other and align with growth strategy.
•Partner with the CPO, CCO, and Growth leadership on roadmap priorities, go-to-market strategy, and commercial alignment.
•Develop and grow the marketing team, establishing clear accountability and a high-performance culture.
•Represent the team's strategy and results to senior leadership and act as the credible voice for PMM and Experience Marketing in cross-functional conversations.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or both, including significant leadership of high-performing teams at the Senior Director level in a high-growth company.
•Proven track record building positioning and messaging frameworks that span multiple audiences and a complex product portfolio, including two-sided marketplace contexts.
•Experience with segmentation, personalization, and behavioral data to shape communications with users over time.
•Strong cross-functional instincts and ability to earn trust with product, engineering, and commercial teams through specificity, rigor, and usefulness.
•Commitment to developing teams and establishing clear accountability structures to enable high performance.
