Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform certified DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigerated trailer equipment at customer sites.
  • •Diagnose and repair/replace refrigeration components such as compressors, coils, and electrical components.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and maintain the company-issued service vehicle (including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections).
  • •Respond to call center-dispatched unscheduled maintenance and service requests.
  • •Complete required documentation accurately (repair orders, DOT forms) and upload photos of work and findings using a company-issued iOS device and TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or an alternate combination such as additional degree/certification or 5 years’ experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Certified to use refrigerants R134, R404, R410 and others as needed.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a current DOT medical card with more than four months remaining).
