Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance including scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and timely repairs of heavy mobile equipment.
  • •Provide reliable electrical maintenance knowledge to minimize downtime of HME equipment.
  • •Carry out electrical inspections of open-cut electrical equipment and/or fixed plant electrical systems.
  • •Diagnose faults and effect repairs to electrical equipment and field devices, including testing & tagging.
  • •Complete electrical isolations/lockouts and statutory inspections/testing of safety devices in line with site SHMS procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •QLD Electrical License and relevant electrical trade certification.
  • •Manual C-Class Australian Driver’s License.
  • •Previous electrical maintenance experience in mining or heavy industrial industries.
  • •Experience and knowledge in PLC controlled equipment and systems.
  • •HV switching qualification is desirable; experience with Komatsu 830E/930E is highly regarded.
