Key Responsibilities

  • •Extend commercial credit in accordance with lending policy, ensuring compliant decisions and recommendations based on customers’ financial conditions.
  • •Interview loan applicants, evaluate credit and financial history, assess collateral adequacy, and authorize or recommend approval/denial within limits.
  • •Prepare loan offering memoranda and ensure loan documents are complete, accurate, and aligned with policy; close or decline loans timely.
  • •Monitor the loan portfolio/performance and recommend changes in risk rating and reserve levels as conditions evolve.
  • •Develop new business, manage an existing loan portfolio, and collect past-due loans (including recommending workout programs and managing collections process as needed).

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to a four-year college degree with 5 years of related lending experience, plus 4 years of related management experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •Broad knowledge across accounting, marketing, business administration, and finance.
  • •Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals, and effectively present information to managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • •Ability to analyze applicants’ credit and financial history using mathematical concepts (probability, statistical inference, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry).
  • •Intermediate software proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing/typing, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
