Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver the full range of personal financial counseling services to service members and families at assigned installations.
  • •Provide one-on-one counseling, consultation, briefings/presentations, and referral resources.
  • •Work with installation and military Points of Contact to ensure the program is within scope and meets installation needs.
  • •Assist service members with establishing spending plans for extended absences.
  • •Coordinate and publicize personal financial management classes/workshops and respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree plus 4 years of experience, or a high school diploma plus 6 years of experience.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •If required by the contract, must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • •Obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process; hold AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.
