Key Responsibilities

  • •Check and verify contractor unit price measurements against drawings and verify as-built re-measurements based on as-built drawings.
  • •Prepare and issue bi-weekly measurement reports and the status of pre and as-built measurements for each contract.
  • •Expedite and ensure timely receipt of measurements from construction contractors and maintain proper audit-ready filing.
  • •Liaise with contractors to receive and verify Progress Payment Certificates and check evaluations of requested extra works.
  • •Monitor correspondence between Wood and contractors, support contract revisions, and participate in weekly subcontracting meetings and monthly subcontract reports updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineer or technical degree with at least 2 years’ experience in quantity surveying for works in industrial plants.
  • •Very good written and spoken English; Romanian is a plus.
  • •Good experience with MS Office, particularly complex Excel files.
  • •Strong communication skills and ability to work in an integrated team on complex projects.
  • •Must be available to work at site and have a Romanian work permit already in place.
