Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage in business development activities and solicit new prospects, including participation in community affairs and public speaking.
  • •Educate customers on bank products and services, meet with customers to discuss needs, and apply sound decision-making within approval limits.
  • •Manage a loan portfolio by monitoring large loan servicing standards, covenants, borrowing bases, maturities, renewals, and collections.
  • •Collaborate with Credit on loan structure, underwriting, and approvals, and ensure changes are reflected in the core system and that post–loan closing data is accurate.
  • •Represent the bank at CRA and public relations activities, prepare required reports, complete annual compliance courses, and coach/mentor less experienced officers and support staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of bank operations, products and services, and related state/federal laws and bank policies.
  • •Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • •Intermediate computer skills, including use of a mainframe system, word processing, spreadsheet, and specialty software programs.
  • •Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to instruct personnel.
