Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • •Plan, prepare, and present learning sessions aligned to the curriculum and differentiated for the whole ability range.
  • •Organize classroom provision and learning resources, create learning displays, and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • •Assess and track student development, using assessments and Target Tracker to inform planning and intervention, and report progress to parents at conferences and meetings.
  • •Follow the school behaviour policy, manage classes effectively, maintain relationships with pupils, and act decisively when necessary.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
  • •Previous experience teaching students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child, with a high level of professionalism.
  • •Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check, and be able to reside in the same Emirate as the school.
