Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and deliver classroom training and evaluation materials aligned with WANO and FANR standards.
  • •Design, develop, deliver, implement, and evaluate certified and non-certified operator training programs under the SAT process.
  • •Validate and deliver FANR exams and administer written, simulator, and job performance evaluations without exam compromises.
  • •Deliver training to key Nawah personnel on relevant operational procedures, eSOMS training, and nuclear technologies.
  • •Support the corrective action program by monitoring assigned actions and ensuring conditions adverse to quality are submitted for improvement processing.

Key Requirements

  • •Certified as a qualified instructor for the material being presented.
  • •Hold (or have held) a Senior Reactor Operator Certification at a Nuclear Power Plant for instructors of FANR Certified Senior Reactor Operators or Certified Reactor Operators.
  • •High school certification plus 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 months in a Nuclear Power Plant.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience.
  • •Experience as a site Regulatory Exam Author (REA) for developing and administering regulatory examinations per NUREG-1021.
