Key Responsibilities

•Repair and overhaul NAVAID antenna and components, including rotary joint and drive motor troubleshooting and repair.
•Test and repair circuit boards and perform troubleshooting of electronic/electro-mechanical systems, including fault isolation and LRU replacement.
•Assemble, repair, and install electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems and components, including modifications and engineering prototypes.
•Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on FAA and interagency systems in accordance with local and FAA policy and procedures.
•Support tower and NAS radome installation/maintenance and perform work at heights, including inspections, corrosion control, and equipment operation as required.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•Associate degree in electrical or engineering technology and completion of formal technical training courses for level II.
•Successful completion of a physical fitness evaluation with specified weight restrictions (minimum 125 lbs, maximum 290 lbs).
•Practical experience supporting engineering technician work, including troubleshooting, repairing, assembling, testing, and installing electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
•Assist with developing, reviewing, and updating engineering documentation and processes, including producing and interpreting technical documents.
•Ability to obtain Public Trust (NACI clearance) and ability to complete required eligibility identification and safety-related evaluations.
