Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the IT customer support/helpdesk team, including incident correction and requests for new hardware and software.
  • •Ensure database and network security, manage user access and authorization, and maintain C-17 TS network cybersecurity controls.
  • •Create and manage accounts, set system parameters, and maintain database/storage structures; repair databases when corrupted or programs are missing.
  • •Perform daily and weekly network backups and ensure scheduled and non-scheduled backup procedures and backup media documentation are functional.
  • •Install and troubleshoot workstations and common desktop applications, maintain helpdesk processes and procedure manuals, and coordinate deployments with internal and remote locations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a technical equivalent.
  • •5+ years of IT experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
  • •Knowledge of host/client-server, telecommunications and network migration, desktop computing, and information system integration.
  • •Experience with Microsoft domain and configuration tools such as Active Directory, NTFS, GPO, IPsec, Exchange, SQL, and WSUS.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
