Job Summary

Develop and test cloud-ready software for the Franchise and Legal Solutions program, building scalable, operable, and highly available applications. Write new code in Java with Spring Boot and modern front-end frameworks like Angular/React, design using principles such as DRY and SOLID, and help drive quality through reusable frameworks and measurable improvements. Collaborate in Agile teams, mentor developers, create proof of concept applications, and improve automated test and release processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Build (and test) cloud-ready code using Java, Angular/React, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
•Drive quality by improving maintenance, operational and runtime characteristics, building reusable frameworks, and providing optimization and simplification recommendations.
•Develop and run microservices and collaborate with engineers and tech leads in Agile to deliver an excellent customer experience.
•Troubleshoot issues by defining root cause and permanently correcting within applications and dependent systems.
•Partner with developers and test engineers to improve and automate test and release processes, and create proof of concept applications.

Key Requirements

•Knowledge and experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web Services, and Oracle SQL development.
•Experience with event-driven systems such as Apache Kafka and NATS.
•Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React is an advantage.
•Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Gtest, JUnit, mocking).
•Experience building platforms with microservice architecture and RESTful APIs, including exposure to cloud-native approaches running on Linux.
