Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Sr Fellow and Leader of Pratt & Whitney’s Non-Conventional Machining Process Council across worldwide manufacturing sites.
  • •Lead resolution of systemic quality and production issues related to Non-Conventional Machining across internal and external supply chain sites.
  • •Establish performance benchmarks and standardization to achieve best-in-class Non-Conventional Machining processes.
  • •Own the Non-Conventional Machining technology roadmap and Parent/Child PFMEA artifacts.
  • •Be the key change agent, reviewer, and approver for Non-Conventional Machining procedures and standard work. Provide best practices sharing and support patent review teams as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or related engineering.
  • •20+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 15+ years relevant experience.
  • •Experience in aviation, turbomachinery and/or gas turbine industries.
  • •Excellent communication skills, including 1-on-1, group presentations, and written communications.
  • •U.S. citizen is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under certain programs/contracts.
