Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out reactive repairs, fault finding, maintenance and improvement works across building fabric and associated facilities.
  • •Complete planned preventative maintenance to help keep facilities safe, compliant and operational.
  • •Undertake carpentry works using specialist tools and woodworking machinery.
  • •Perform fire door inspections, repairs and maintenance, including fire stopping activities.
  • •Support health and safety initiatives and safe systems of work, and communicate defects and parts requirements promptly.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete a recognised carpentry apprenticeship or relevant structured training programme.
  • •Hold relevant City and Guilds, BTEC or equivalent carpentry qualifications.
  • •Have experience working in a maintenance, facilities, construction or similar environment.
  • •Demonstrate good understanding of building services and maintenance practices.
  • •Show strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
