Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as an industry expert in cloud, infrastructure, and network technologies, guiding the platform team as a subject matter expert.
  • •Design and architect next-generation architectures across domains including storage, compute, network, containerisation, and cloud-native applications.
  • •Develop solution architectures aligned to requirements, reference architectures, design patterns, and technology standards.
  • •Lead collaboration across project, application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security enterprise architects to deploy comprehensive solution architectures.
  • •Support DevSecOps and security governance, including vulnerability management, technical risk assessments, and ensuring security requirements are embedded into epics/stories for squads.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrable experience as a subject matter expert evaluating and implementing technical security products for Infrastructure as Code and Azure-based public/private sector environments.
  • •Able to provide analytical advice on security implications of new and existing systems/applications and proposed changes.
  • •Able to interpret detailed system design documentation and identify security risks and mitigations for secure solutions.
  • •Experience applying security principles within an agile delivery framework, including Secure by Design and SecDevOps.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written) highly technical topics to management, clients, and staff at all levels.
