Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a specialized tack truck to transport and distribute tack oil or other materials used in road construction.
  • •Adhere to MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply safety rules and complete daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA's, etc.).
  • •Snap on spray bars, regulate material flow rate, and adjust spray bar heights to meet required specifications.
  • •Signal the paving machine operator to start paving and observe uniform distribution of material over road surfaces.
  • •Verify depth specifications, monitor flow/temperature gauges, and oil/lubricate equipment as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must possess a valid CDL (Class B), a clean MVR, and must pass a DOT physical.
