Job Summary

Develop and maintain automated backend/API test scenarios, including detailed test plans and cases. Convert manual regression scenarios into automation and ensure tests run reliably in CI/CD environments. Partner with Agile Scrum teams to plan coverage, estimate and coordinate testing activities across the SDLC, and thoroughly troubleshoot and document defects. Perform functional and non-functional testing to support high-quality releases in two-week sprints.

•Develop and maintain automated test scenarios for backend/API testing.
•Create structured test plans and test cases, and convert manual regression scenarios into automated cases.
•Participate in sprint planning and reviews to ensure requirements are covered by tests.
•Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities during the SDLC, integrating automated tests into CI/CD environments.
•Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues during bug tracking; perform functional and non-functional testing to support the development team.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of solid experience in software testing.
•Strong proficiency in Java.
•Experience with REST Assured for API automation testing.
•Experience with Postman for API testing.
•Hands-on Git command line and strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, tools, and processes.
