Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as enterprise operational lead for defense supply priorities, partnering with Supply Chain, Procurement, Contracts, Program Management, Legal, and Government Relations to execute and close supply vulnerabilities.
  • •Identify critical commodities and supply bottlenecks, proactively lead cross-functional initiatives, and secure priority ratings across programs to de-risk supply.
  • •Build and scale a centralized data repository capturing strategic commodities, allocations, rating statuses, purchase orders, supplier flow-downs, risks, and corrective actions.
  • •Ensure priority ratings and mandatory flow-down requirements are reflected on purchase orders and legally binding supplier commitments with procurement teams.
  • •Embed priority rating logic and traceability into core enterprise platforms (ERP, MRP, P2P, CLM, and dashboards) and deliver executive reporting, briefings, and operating roadmaps.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, National Security Policy, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •5+ years of experience consulting and working with government agencies, defense technology companies, or advisory firms supporting the defense industrial base.
  • •Deep understanding of defense priority allocation frameworks (e.g., DPAS), defense acquisition workflows, FAR/DFARS flow-down clauses, and operational supplier controls.
  • •Hands-on experience deploying or managing defense priority requirements within enterprise ERP/MRP systems and modern procurement tools.
  • •Ability to translate defense regulations into actionable business processes, SOPs, RACI matrices, and company-wide training; travel 25%-50% and relocate to be onsite in Costa Mesa if needed.
