Job Summary

Serve as the technical liaison between sales and engineering for Harness’s AI-Native DevSecOps platform. Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on application security testing and runtime protection, evangelize AppSec and API/AI security capabilities (SCA, SAST, DAST, runtime), and translate customer security and compliance needs into end-to-end DevSecOps solutions. Drive workshops and POVs to prove SDLC-to-operations value and ensure successful technology evaluation and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on Application Security Testing and Runtime Protection within the broader DevSecOps landscape.
•Evangelize Harness’s AI-Native DevSecOps platform, highlighting AppSec and API/AI Security capabilities including SCA, SAST, DAST, and runtime protection.
•Connect business security risks and compliance problems to technical solutions across the end-to-end DevSecOps pipeline.
•Drive complex technical engagements such as workshops and POVs to demonstrate value securing the full SDLC from code to operation, including API and AI workflows.
•Provide critical technical support throughout the technology evaluation stage and support customer success adopting application and AI security products.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in the DevSecOps or Cybersecurity domain, or strong experience in the software evaluation and buying process.
•Hands-on experience with modern application security practices and tools, including API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, and SCA (or similar technologies).
•Appreciation for cloud-native application security and understanding security risks tied to GenAI integrations.
•Ability to convey complex customer security requirements and feature requests to Engineering.
•Ability and willingness to travel occasionally on short notice for customer engagements, internal meetings, or conferences.
