Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at assigned military installations.
  • •Deliver education and counseling through one-on-one sessions, consultations, briefings/presentations, and referral resources.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle and respond to requested age-appropriate seminars.
  • •Work with installation and military branch points of contact to ensure the program stays within scope and meets installation needs.
  • •Manage duty to warn situations per DoD protocol and participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (may consider associate degree + 4 years’ experience or high school diploma + 6 years’ experience in lieu of a bachelor’s).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English (bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract).
  • •Obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and successfully pass the OCI (organizational conflicts of interest) process.
  • •Must hold one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
