Job Summary

Drive a truck equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mixes to job sites. Ensure compliance with DOT requirements, inspect the truck daily, and safely drive to unloading locations. Back under batching/loading hoppers, verify concrete load consistency/quantity, assemble concrete chutes, and maneuver to delivery points. Follow written/verbal instructions, maintain safety compliance, and clean the truck and drum to prevent concrete buildup.

Key Responsibilities

•Comply with DOT requirements including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
•Inspect the truck at the start of each workday and complete the Driver Check-off Sheet.
•Drive to job sites for unloading and maneuver the truck safely to the delivery point.
•Back truck under batching/loading hoppers, inspect drum/load for consistency and cleanliness, and adjust axle pressure based on load.
•Assemble and use concrete chutes, follow safety manuals and instructions, and clean the truck and drum after loading and delivery.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Must have a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
•Meet eligibility requirements to drive a commercial motor vehicle in interstate commerce under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
•Experience with Command series and/or Command batch is a plus.
•Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check; be 18 years or older.
