Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and high-scale data pipelines.
  • •Build and extend platform features across data stores (relational, analytical/columnar, object storage) and implement schema changes and safe migrations.
  • •Tune compute and pipelines for data movement and transformation, including stream processors and distributed worker fleets.
  • •Improve scalability, reliability, performance, and fault tolerance across the data path, including indexing and hot-path optimization.
  • •Add observability instrumentation and lead features through implementation and production support, including debugging and postmortems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years, or PhD with 0 years relevant experience.
  • •Strong experience in backend engineering and building production-grade services.
  • •Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • •Experience with relational or analytical databases, including schema design, query tuning, and safe migrations.
  • •Hands-on Python backend development and experience with streaming/queueing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar, Kinesis).
