Job Summary

Drive requirements and solution delivery for a funds-focused client onboarding transformation within Nomura’s wholesale banking operations. Define and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process/data mapping for KYC/AML, entity data management, and post-onboarding servicing. Partner with global operations, compliance, legal, and technology teams to analyze current-state workflows, design target-state solutions, support testing and implementation, and ensure benefits realization.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and document business requirements for fund client onboarding and servicing, including functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
•Perform current-state analysis across regions, identify pain points, and design target-state solutions to improve client experience and operational efficiency.
•Develop process flows, data mapping documentation, control frameworks, and maintain requirements traceability and change logs.
•Collaborate with global operations, credit, legal, compliance, sales, and technology teams; facilitate workshops and gather requirements.
•Support test management and coordinate UAT/SIT/regression testing, assist implementation planning and change management, and enable end-user training/documentation.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of business analysis experience in financial services, preferably within wholesale banking or asset servicing.
•3+ years of experience with fund client onboarding and lifecycle maintenance.
•Experience working on large-scale, complex transformation projects.
•Strong understanding of fund lifecycle operations and workflows, including regulatory requirements affecting fund onboarding.
•Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (process modeling, data flow diagrams, use cases) and strong documentation skills.
