Job Summary

Lead day-to-day maintenance operations in the stamping shop of a luxury electric vehicle manufacturer, supervising up to 25 technicians and coordinating with production and engineering to minimize downtime. Develop preventive maintenance, conduct inspections, manage records and safety compliance, engage vendors, and drive continuous improvement in stamping processes and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Supervise maintenance team members during the maintenance activities and interface with production and maintenance Engineers to improve the maintenance process in the Stamping shop
•Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
•Conduct regular inspections of machinery, identifying any issues or potential problems and implementing corrective actions.
•Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance/improvement activities and minimize disruption to production schedules.
•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or with equivalent experience
•5+ years of experience working in maintenance area preferred
•5+ years of direct leadership experience preferred
•Experience in maintenance, supervisor roles, and repair operations associated with electrical systems, electronics, fabrication, hydraulics, mechanical drives, pneumatics, robotics, stamping presses, cranes and conveyor systems, and PLC programming and troubleshooting
•Must have a thorough understanding of machinery, their functions and maintenance requirements; Working knowledge of presses which are large Tandem Lines; Programmable Tandem die knowledge; Electrical experience with press controls and drive motor units
