Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and grow the Bengaluru security hub as the first security hire, building local capabilities across Product Security and SecOps.
  • •Design, test, and deploy AI-driven SecOps automation including detection logic and incident playbooks powered by AI agents.
  • •Implement AI-accelerated product security by integrating automated code analysis/scanning (SAST/SCA) into CI/CD and providing AI-assisted remediation.
  • •Lead threat modeling and hardening for cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and identity management systems.
  • •Hire, mentor, and directly manage a multi-disciplinary security engineering team; own long-term hiring, performance strategy, and transition initiatives into stabilized ownership structures.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated, hands-on AI expertise leveraging LLMs, AI agents, or machine learning models to automate security tasks and orchestrate response flows.
  • •Solid product security knowledge across secure SDLC, vulnerability triage, and application scanning (SAST/DAST/SCA) including CodeQL and OWASP ZAP.
  • •Proven SecOps experience in threat hunting, incident response management, and writing detection rules-as-code in modern SIEM/SOAR systems.
  • •Strong engineering and code proficiency for automation using Python, Go, or PowerShell, with an automated DevOps mindset (CI/CD tools, Terraform, APIs).
  • •Ability and ambition to step up into leadership by hiring, mentoring, and managing a team with clear communication, stakeholder management, and empathy for code creators.
