Key Responsibilities

  • •Design the hydraulic system and create hydraulic schematic diagrams.
  • •Select hydraulic components such as valves, pumps, filters, and pipes.
  • •Perform hands-on hydraulic system testing and analyze measurement results.
  • •Assess hydraulic system safety and risks, and support commissioning onboard vessels.
  • •Define requirements and solutions for new generations of wing actuation, working with suppliers and contributing to documentation and regulatory submissions.

Key Requirements

  • •At least a bachelor’s degree in hydraulics, mechanical or mechatronics engineering, or equivalent engineering degree.
  • •Record of courses in hydraulic system design or equivalent work experience.
  • •Self-going and self-motivated.
  • •Strong team player who collaborates with other competences to reach a common goal.
  • •Beneficial experience with hydraulic testing/measurement analysis, hydraulic scheme design tools (preferably HyDraw), and/or system modeling and simulation in Matlab/Simulink.
