Job Summary

Build and orchestrate a modern OpenTelemetry (OTEL)-based observability platform that supports metrics, logs, and traces. Define observability governance and help ensure reliability, security, and performance meet SLAs. Partner with engineers to troubleshoot and deploy services, lead monitoring/alerting design, and manage ingestion, aggregation, transformation, and use of real-time pipeline data.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and orchestrate a modern OTEL-based observability platform supporting metrics, logs, and traces.
•Define and support observability governance and manage problems at scale.
•Lead the design and deployment of monitoring/observability services to detect and alert the team.
•Oversee availability, performance, and supportability of observability infrastructure to exceed SLAs.
•Ingest, aggregate, transform, and use data from real-time data pipelines and create processes for alert response operations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 304,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, SRE, and/or platform teams.
•Ability to develop software beyond typical infrastructure configuration requirements.
•Experience programming in C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
•Expert knowledge designing, developing, and managing large real-time systems.
•Experience with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana dashboards, and centralized logging such as ELK Stack, Splunk, or Grafana Stack).
