Job Summary

Prepare product blends according to established recipes, ensuring required raw materials are available and meet quality standards through expiration-date, visual, and odor checks. Weigh ingredients accurately, gather materials, and deliver samples to the laboratory for analysis and approval. Adjust blends based on lab feedback, then store products properly and clean workstations to prevent contamination. This role reports to the Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare product blends according to established recipes.
•Ensure raw materials are available before starting production.
•Verify raw material quality by checking expiration dates and conducting visual and odor inspections.
•Accurately weigh required quantities and gather materials for blends.
•Deliver samples to the laboratory for analysis and approval, then adjust blends based on feedback and recommendations, while storing products properly and cleaning workstations.

Key Requirements

•AEC in Chemical Processes or a related educational program (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
•3 to 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing-role environment.
•Forklift operator certification (asset).
•Ability to perform physical and manual work, including lifting up to approximately 50 lbs.
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
