Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare all surfaces for paint (sanding, masking, filling, washing, dents removal) and apply corrosive preventative treatments, primers, and finish coats.
  • •Mix and/or tint paint as required and perform layout of paint schemes per customer specifications.
  • •Apply paint materials to prepared surfaces according to manufacturer instructions.
  • •Complete aircraft for customer acceptance with brush touch-ups, cleaning striping lines, and removal of overspray.
  • •Maintain daily documentation including time sheet release/update and sign-offs, discrepancy sheets, referenced records, and toolbox audit sheets.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • •Minimum of four (4) years of painting and paint preparation on metal and composite/fiberglass components.
  • •Strong paint skills with previous paint work experience.
  • •Ability to read and work from blueprints and bills of material (BOM) to ensure proper coatings IAW technical data.
  • •Able to use basic hand tools to remove and install hardware and communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
