Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and design fasteners and tools with a “first time right” mindset.
  • •Optimize process flow during fastener development and update Design for Manufacturing accordingly.
  • •Identify and work with indigenous tool manufacturers to optimize tool life and cost.
  • •Conduct technical reviews from both design and joint application perspectives.
  • •Follow initial protocols strictly and support ad-hoc duties/job rotation as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
  • •3–6 years’ experience in the fasteners industry, preferably in the blind rivets field.
  • •Ability to design structural blind rivets and threaded fasteners (bolts and nuts).
  • •Strong knowledge of forging, secondary process machines, and tool/product design.
  • •Good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, IATF 16949, and fastener international standards.
