Job Summary

Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care at Healthpoint across outpatient and surgical settings. Diagnose and manage anterior and posterior segment conditions, conduct thorough eye exams, and create individualized treatment plans. Perform ophthalmic surgeries within clinical privileges, manage pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care, and treat cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders. Use advanced diagnostic and imaging tools, collaborate with multidisciplinary clinicians, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting quality improvement and ongoing education.

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose and manage ophthalmic conditions affecting anterior and posterior segments of the eye.
•Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
•Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures in line with clinical privileges and expertise.
•Manage pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
•Provide medical and surgical treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disorders, and other ophthalmic conditions; maintain documentation, participate in audits/QI/education, and adhere to DHA/DOH regulations.

Key Requirements

•Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completion of a recognized Ophthalmology residency program.
•Specialist qualification in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
•Valid DOH License/Eligibility as a Specialist Ophthalmologist.
•Proven experience in both medical and surgical ophthalmology, including strong operative skills to independently perform procedures.
•Experience in cataract surgery is essential; additional subspecialty surgical expertise is an advantage.
