Job Summary

Provide SAP Basis support for Traditional AMS services, working across ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, and BODS systems. You’ll operate in rotating shifts and support upgrades, OS/DB migrations, system monitoring, backups, and transport management. Responsibilities include troubleshooting performance issues, managing statistics and indexes, maintaining SAP Solution Manager, and handling printer configuration while supporting projects requiring strong communication with both technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Support SAP Basis technical activities for Traditional AMS services across ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, and BODS systems.
•Work rotating shifts (6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, or 10PM-6AM) and swap based on project requirements.
•Perform system monitoring, backups (online/offline), and transport management including scheduling jobs and maintaining TMS.
•Handle performance and maintenance tasks such as cleaning/archiving logs, managing alert logs, maintaining CBO statistics, and checking/searching for missing indexes.
•Support upgrades and OS/DB migration efforts and perform configuration tasks like printer configuration, log configuration, logon groups, and license installation.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of relevant experience in SAP Basis/support activities.
•Experience supporting SAP systems including support projects and upgrade/OS-DB migration work.
•Knowledge of SAP administration such as support packages/add-ons, Solution Manager, and system operations.
•Hands-on experience with basis monitoring, backups, transport management, and performance activities.
•Strong communication skills to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.
