Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical and process capability assessments for high-risk/specialized suppliers, identify gaps, and drive resolution through root-cause analysis.
•Develop and deploy supplier maturity frameworks, translating assessments into prioritized improvement roadmaps and informing sourcing and segmentation decisions.
•Implement initiatives for Supplier-Owned Quality and First-Time-Right by establishing process controls, in-process monitoring, and governance models.
•Coach suppliers and internal teams on quality tools and standardized supplier development practices through training and knowledge sharing.
•Lead complex supplier development programs by defining objectives, KPIs, success criteria, and removing barriers while maintaining regulatory and QMS knowledge.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years with a master’s degree in Quality Engineering, Safety Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement Techniques, or equivalent.
•Strong understanding of medical device QMS, supplier controls, and regulatory expectations.
•Ability to assess complex manufacturing and quality processes, identify risk-based improvement opportunities, and support improvement roadmaps.
•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
•Excellent communicator and negotiator who can work independently and manage multiple audits; willing to travel up to 50%.
•problem solving methodology certifications are a nice to have.
