Key Responsibilities

  • •Under a mentor, help develop core TikTok Search scenarios such as the search results page and iterate features through A/B testing and data analysis to optimize search.
  • •Develop and optimize search business modules using multi-platform stacks including Lynx, Android, iOS, and server, addressing performance bottlenecks and stability.
  • •Integrate AI Agents into daily R&D workflows, including coding assistance, intelligent debugging, and automated testing, while exploring AI tools in search scenarios.
  • •Contribute to program optimizations such as performance monitoring, exception management, and cache preloading.
  • •Participate in the full lifecycle from data collection to solution implementation, building understanding of large-scale application engineering systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing an Undergraduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • •Solid programming fundamentals with familiarity with at least one language such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Go, plus good coding practices.
  • •Strong self-motivation and fast learning, with the ability to break down problems and find solutions under uncertainty.
  • •Strong communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with mentors and cross-functional teams.
  • •Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Aime, with clear use cases and outcomes.
