Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a high-performing team of SMEs reviewing suspicious activity alerts to identify Financial Crime risks.
  • •Manage daily BAU priorities to meet SLAs/KPIs, compliance standards, policies, and procedures.
  • •Represent the team at business forums and senior stakeholder meetings, presenting MI and key issues.
  • •Plan and execute training and development for junior staff, supporting the team manager.
  • •Work with QA and 2nd/3rd lines of defence on internal reviews and drive training and transformation, including project work and system testing.

  • •Strong understanding of the regulatory framework for Financial Crime/AML.
  • •Ability to prioritise investigations and meet regulatory deadlines and completion targets, making sound judgements for alert handling and disposition.
  • •Proven leadership capability to drive and deliver high performance, employee engagement, and a change/transformation mindset.
  • •Deep AML/Financial Crime expertise gained from experience within a Financial Crime operational area.
  • •Ability to partner effectively with 2nd and 3rd lines of defence and internal teams to support reviews and training/transformation.
