Key Responsibilities

  • •Train molding technicians to improve technical capabilities and experience.
  • •Monitor daily production, quality, and scrap; track downtime, quality performance, and machine efficiency.
  • •Safely operate equipment, perform machine start-up/shut-down and color/process changes, and troubleshoot issues with corrective actions.
  • •Work with Production, Maintenance, and Shift Supervisors to improve equipment layouts and tooling; order spare parts and necessary equipment.
  • •Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance on machine operations and malfunctions; support line stoppages related to imminent safety risk and lead teams to address scrap, quality, and safety issues.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • •2–4-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of injection molding machinery and processes preferred.
  • •Ability to organize and prioritize work, handle multiple projects, and use computer software (Microsoft products preferred).
  • •Demonstrated communication, investigation, coaching, and mentoring experience; Six Sigma training preferred.
